Our Story

HartiSWIM is a new British Isles based eco-luxe wearable art swimwear brand, founded by Tessa Hartmann CBE, a fashion veteran, entrepreneur and TV personality. Inspired by her artist husband who paints under the name of ‘Harti’, this is a bold, sustainable statement print collection of swimwear made from recycled plastic bottles from our oceans. All the artwork is hand-painted and reproduced digitally on sustainable fabrics. 1 swimsuit = 13.1 recycled plastic bottles, (certified bottle count by Repreve). By using this new sustainable fibre called ‘Repreve’ for HartiSWIM, allows our customers to play a role in solving the ever-growing problem of ocean plastic. HartiSWIM has been created for the women who regardless of their size or age are invested in glamour with a conscience, with swimwear that is designed to be loved forever. HartiSWIM is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. They take responsibility for the health of our planet by donating 1% of annual sales to Environmental Partners creating positive change.
